Panopreter text to speech software

Using our screen reader software programs, you can not only listen to the natural-sounding human voice speech on the computer, but also convert written text into spoken audio files in wav and mp3 formats for listening later at your convenience.

Panopreter Plus reads any text aloud and reads files in formats of txt, rtf, doc, pdf and web pages. It also converts the text into wav and mp3 audio files, so you can later listen to the vocal speech with a portable mp3 player device. Furthermore, it reads text copied to clipboard from any other software window. It supports many languages and voices.

Text to speech and text to mp3 add-ons for IE web browser and Word

Panopreter Plus includes toolbars for Internet Explorer and Office Word. The toolbars read the text on the web page and Word document aloud. With a mouse button click, you can convert the text into mp3 and wav audio files. When there is no text selected on the web page or Word document, the whole text will be read out, otherwise the selected text will be read aloud.

Panopreter Basic is a less-featured free text reader.

Feature comparison

Many people are using Panopreter Plus to process their daily digital information. Business people, educators, writers, students, language learners and those with visual or vocal impairment, or learning disabilities can benefit from the text to voice and text to audio software.

In Windows 8, there are three new text to speech voices: Microsoft David (US male) and Zira (US female) and Hazel (UK female). Windows 7 and Vista users can hear the voice of Microsoft Anna. Because the default text to speech voice Microsoft Sam in Windows XP is not as clear as the voices in Windows Vista and later, Windows XP and previous operating system users are recommended to install a third party text to speech voice to get a better sound quality.
